II·About
I build the systems other people do their work on.
I'm Luis Bautista, a full-stack engineer. I design and build complete platforms: from the data model to the app used in the field, and the infrastructure that keeps them standing. This is how I got here.

Teloro
Lead developer
My first real product: a solar quoting tool that turned a customer's power bills into a production forecast and a proposal, in minutes instead of days.
“Software is worth the decision it speeds up.”
- IIMMXIX
Pompeii Surgical
IT manager
I ran a surgical clinic's network and wrote the app that took surgery approvals off paper.
“A system is only as good as its worst day.”
- IIIMMXX — MMXXIII
Boxel Studio
Web & software developer
Four years of e-commerce for demanding brands: custom themes and plugins, Laravel and Vue, and 3D product pages animated with GSAP. And my first production server.
“Craft lives in the details nobody asks for.”

Field operations & support
I worked inside the operation: I saw how field work gets dispatched, logged and paid, mostly over WhatsApp and spreadsheets. I built the tools that day-to-day work called for.
“To build for an operation, you have to have lived it.”

Founder · sole engineer
Everything before it, in one platform: dispatch, a field app that works without signal, payroll, assets and a log nobody can rewrite. Seven services, from Rust to Android, designed and built by me.
“My magnum opus, and the reason for everything before it.”

Craft
What I know how to do, and what I do it with.
Platform architecture
Modelling a whole business as one system: domains, data, APIs, apps and the decisions that hold them together, written down.
Multi-tenant systems
Isolating each customer's data in the database itself, so a mistake cannot cross them.
Offline-first
Apps that work without signal and sync later, without duplicating or losing a change.
Trust and audit
Logs that cannot be rewritten, fine-grained permissions and enterprise sign-in, by design.
Optimisation and applied AI
Routing, risk prediction and assistants that propose and wait for a person to approve.
Interface and motion
Clear interfaces for people who operate all day, and motion and 3D when they show what a picture can't.
Infrastructure and delivery
Infrastructure as code, reversible deploys and observability, so shipping is never a gamble.
Technical leadership
Taking a product from idea to production, alone or with a team, close to the operation that uses it.
